Arivunidhi debuts in Karan film

There is another member from the family of chief minister Karunanidhi is donning the paint for film. Arivunidhi, the son of Karunanidhi's first son Mu. Ka. Muthu, is playing a police office in ‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaran’ starring Karan, Anjali, Saravanan, Ganja Karupu and others.

‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaran’ is based on a real story that happened in the Tamil Nadu-Kerala borders. After completed a 90 days shooting in Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli districts Director V C Vadivudaiyan has roped in Arivunidhi to play an important role.

Arivunidhi was reluctant at first to do the role and initially refused. But the director forcefully narrated the full story and also screened him the rushes of the film so far shot then. After seeing the rushes the grand son of CM was literally in awe and agreed. Arivunidhi was particularly impressed by a 4-minute long shot which featured Karan and Saravanan.

Arivunidhi's character is called Soosaiyappan and the powerful character will be remembered for long says the director.

‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’ is produced by J. Senthil Kumar under the banner JS 24 Frames. Music is by Vidyasagar and lyrics by Vairamuthu. The audio of this film fill be launched later this month.
