Veteran actor Arjun, who returned to the big screens after a long time, in 'Kadal' and 'Vanayudham', will now be putting on the director's hat. He made his directorial debut with 'Sevagan' in 1992, and directed a total of 9 movies so far, including 'Madrasi' in 2006. Now, he will be directing his 10th, as well as starring in it.

The film is titled 'Common Man' (CM), and will be produced by Aascar Films. "I will be playing the lead role as well directing the film titled 'Common Man'. Unlike what is popularly referred, CM here stands for a Common Man, and I will be playing that role. When I narrated the script to Aascar Ravichandran, he liked it instantly, and agreed to produce the film" says the actor. Meanwhile, he will make yet another on screen presence as one of the lead characters in 'Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal' directed by Vasanth.
