'Arjun Reddy' Kannada remake by a biggie

It was recently reported that Dhanush has bagged the Tamil remake rights of 'Arjun Reddy'. Whether or not he will play the lead role, the film is well in his kitty. And early reports suggest that Ranveer Singh might star in the film's Bollywood remake.

Amid this comes the news that the Kannada remake rights are with Rockline Venkaesh, one of the biggest Sandalwood filmmakers.

Since the character is multi-dimensional, raw, brooding and intensely romantic as it is, Ranveer and Dhanush might be a perfect choice as far as Hindi and Tamil (respectively) are concerned.

The film has breached the coveted USD 1.5 Million mark in the US.
