The recent film Kick` event kicked off some hype and controversy... And it`s no wonder, when the Dabangg` superstar is in vicinity. As per media reports, Salman Khan alleged to have got into wrong books of media; when he failed to pose for the photographers. Talks are also that the actor and his security guards misbehaved with some media persons.

Following this, the cameramen sought to boycott Salman Khan till his film Kick` releases on 25th July. "Salman Khan needs to apologise to us or else we will not photo graph him," quoted a photographer.

The situation worsened when Salman issued a statement thus - "Those who want to cover the event are welcome to stay, the rest can leave if they wish." This further irked the media.

However, being true to his fearless` attitude, Salman merely brushed off about being banned by media. In his typical tongue-in-cheek style, the actor tweeted, "This is wat I call a stand, the photographers r gonna loose out on wrk, but hv still taken a decision not to take my pics, happy fr them." He further cheekily wrote, "I wld hv immense respect for them if they keep this stand."

While film`s director Sajid Nadiadwala kept mum on this matter, Salim Khan, Salman`s father is of opinion that although he cannot comment on this event since he was not present there, he agreed that cameramen do get too close these days.

Recently Shraddha Kapoor too faced similar ban from media and the actress had to dissolve the issue after meeting the concerned media men.
