Arulnidhi, the ‘Vamsam’ hero, is optimistic about his next film ‘Udhayan’, which according to him is a film on a city-based youngster. “It is an interesting subject and I am in love with the title,” he says.

Produced by Prabhakaran on Muthamizh Padaippagam banner, the film is directed by Chaplin, a newcomer. “I know Chaplin very well as he is one of the assistant directors of Vamsam,” Arulnidhi says.

On the film, the young actor says, “It is a beautiful script set in the backdrop of the city. I play Udhayan, a happy go lucky youngster. The film is about the experiences he undergoes in his life.”

Heaping laurels on his grandfather, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi, he says, “He is my rolemodel. An inspiration to my brothers Udhayanidhi and Dhayanidhi. We admire his urge to try new things even at this age.”
