Aruvadai ready for kickoff

After several delays, Mammootty and Arjun starrer Aruvadai will finally go to floors now. The movie directed by Aravindh features Mammootty, Arjun and Jai Akash in prominent roles.

Aravindh says, “It is no regular commercial movie. It dwells on a serious issue. A problem that affects farmers. A heavy budget film with 3D effects and DI graphics would be used in the movie”.

“Since it is a movie that offers solution to the problems faced by peasants, we are planning to release the film on Harvest day (Pongal), a festival celebrated to honour the hard work of farmers”.

A huge set has been put up at Puzhal Jail and shooting will commence soon, he informs.
