Arya convinced in five minutes to make a debut

Arya the most loved romantic hero has acted mostly in Tamil but is very popular in the entire South and now and then makes appearances in Malayalam cinema like the recent 'The Great Father' with Mammootty and the Telugu 'Size Zero' with Anushka.

Arya is now making a foray into Kannada cinema with his debut film 'Rajaratha' directed by Anup Bhandari in which the director's brother Nirup Bhandari and Avanthika Sharma. Anup has stated to newsmen that he spoke to Arya on the phone and narrated the story and within five minutes the latter agreed to do the film. Shooting begins for Arya on this Saturday and his presence will surely prompt a Tamil version of the film to release.
