A few weeks ago, Ram Charan became the first and only Tollywood star to give a call to reach out to the victims of terrible floods in Assam. "Hey guys! I just want to bring your attention to the floods in Assam. Assam needs your help. People have died. People are displaced and animals have died too. Let's contribute to getting Assam back on its feet. Please donate and help them guys. Every rupee will make a huge difference," he said on Facebook.

Following him, his wife Upassana too made a similar appeal.

A media outlet in Assam has appreciated the efforts of these two celebs, including others like Aamir Khan. The Mega hero and his wife had contributed monetarily towards relief measures in the flood-ravaged poor State.
