It is not everyday that a director is not around in India when his film is released here in India.

But Gautham Menon is a cool cookie. So he can afford to be elsewhere when his movie Pachai Kili Muthucharam is being released in Tamil Nadu later this week.

Gautham is currently in London. But he is not holidaying. He is busy writing the dialogues for his movie Varanam Aayiram with Suriya.

Gautham should of course be anxious about the fate of Pachai Kili Muthucharam as has cast Sarath in a new light.

But Gautham need not worry on that score as the audience seem thrilled to watch his movie.

Oscar Ravichandran who is handling distribution has left no stone unturned to get the movie the right momentum.

The good news is that the film is already overbooked for the weekend in all the big theatres and multiplexes in Chennai and nearby areas. This kind of big rush is usually reserved for only big stars' movies.

But then Gautham and Sarath combo are seen to be one.
