It is common to see Kollywood celebrities wishing for the success of the Tamil films releasing every Friday. Probably for the first time ever, an Australian cricketer has wished for the success of a Tamil film.

Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi's 'Meesaya Murukku' has hit the screens today. Former Australian opener Matthew Hayden has wished success for the film in his official twitter. page.

'Meesaya Murkku' has been directed by Adhi who has also played the lead role in the film apart from scoring music and penning all the songs for the film.

In his tweet, Hayden has called Adhi "a sensation" has also shared a photograph in which he is seen posing with the 'Thani Oruan' music director.

Hayden recently visited various places across Tamil Nadu for the promotion of Tamil Nadu Premier League Cricket tournament and became familiar with the state's customs and those who are the popular celebrities here.
