Azhar and Rubina meet Sonia Gandhi

Azharuddin and Rubina, the child actors of the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ recently visited Delhi.

During their stay in the city, they got an opportunity to meet Sonia Gandhi.

The little ones had come to the capital city to participate in the Wills Lifestyle Indian Fashion Week.

They were invited by designers Ashima and Leena Singh to walk the ramp.

The children spoke to the politician about their problems and also took some photographs with her.

Designer Leena Singh said “Sonia Gandhi was very happy to see them. It was wonderful. We told her that the children were still living in slums though the government has promised some help and requested that the help is provided on time”.
