After lot of deliberations, actor Aravind Swamy has given his nod to star in the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Buzz is that the actor has pocketed Rs 5 cr as remuneration to reprise his iconic Siddharth Abhimanyu role in the Telugu version. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film features Ram Charan in lead role.

Allu Aravind and NV Prasad are likely to produce this action drama which is expected to roll from January. Currently, Surender Reddy is making changes to the script to suit the sensibilities of native audience. The makers are also on the lookout for the leading lady opposite Ram Charan in this film.

Recently, Ram Charan returned to the city after a month-long vacation to USA. The actor will go for a makeover to essay a cop in this film. More details are awaited.
