What happens to Yuvan and Pragathi now?

Director Bala has started his next Nachiyaar` from the 2nd of March with Jyothika and G. Prakash Kumar in the lead. The film has music by Ilayaraja and is said to be based on a true story of a murderer.

Bala had earlier announced a film starring Yuvan of Saattai` fame and young singer Pragathi in the lead and it was reported that a few days of shoot happened. Now that Bala is concentrating on Nachiyaar` does it mean that the other film is dropped? Yuvan has stated that Bala has promised that the film will resume by the end of 2017.
