Bala ready to face problems, if any, for 'Chandi Veeran'

Known for making bold films and statements, director Bala has said he is ready to face if his production venture 'Chandi Veeran' faces any problem due to its title.

"I liked the story narrated by director Sargunam. Atharva was waiting for a right script at that time. So I came forward to produce the movie for him. If the film faces protest for its title like 'Sandiyar', I am ready to face it," the acclaimed filmmaker said.

Set in the backdrop of Thanjavur, 'Chandi Veeran' has Anandhi of 'Kayal' fame as the heroine. Atharva, who is for the first time playing a rural youngster, has toned up his body for the role. Music is by S N Arunagiri.
