Nandamuri Balakrishna escaped an accident that would have been fatal. Moments ago, he was driving to the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru along with five others. He was in the driver's seat when, in his attempt to escape from a vehicle coming toward the car, he hit a road divider. Fortunately, none of those in the car were hurt.

Balayya, as the MLA of Hindupur, had completed participating in some government programmes in Chilamatthooru mandal of Anantapur district's Hindupur. The accident took place in Chunduru near Baghepally.

The car was reportedly damaged in the accident. The police seized control ov the situation, got Balayya and others move to their destination and cleared the traffic off.
