The moment we think about Bala, a serious image would sit in our mind. But the national award winning director is a cool and jovial person in real, says Vishal, one of the protagonists of 'Avan Ivan'.

"Bala sir is not as serious as many would perceive. He is very cool and he has an excellent sense of humour. It was visible when we shot for Avan Ivan for more than a year," says the actor.

He adds: "Not just good at humour, Bala is a super human being too. He really cares for others and ensures that his colleagues feel at home when they are working with him. He is a nice personality."

Happy about the response to 'Avan Ivan', Vishal says, "It is like a re-birth to me. All credits go to Bala for molding me as an actor. Avan Ivan is an important movie in my career and I feel honoured to work with a director like Bala."
