Made as a musical-dance fiesta, the movie which was shot extensively at North India will grace the theatres for this Vishu.

The film's story has been written by M.R. Nair who has also produced the movie under the banner of Kasi Films.

The film narrates the story of a young man named Hari and his love towards a girl named Amritha, who he happen to meet in `Banaras'.

Hari, a University over-all champion, is in `Banaras' to do research on folk-dances at the `Banaras' Hindu University. Apart from doing research, he decides to explore the holy city of `Banaras' with some personal intentions.

He needs to trace the missing links about his mother, originally from the city who had died soon after given birth to him. Brought up at Kerala by his father who is a university professor, Hari is fascinated by the life that unfolds before him at `Banaras'.

He also meets Amritha, a girl who is there at the University to do her post graduation in classical dances. She is a girl who was made an orphan by her uncle, who executed a car accident to kill her parents.

Amritha is now amidst a lot of problems which bother her emotionally and financially.

Hari and Amritha very soon establish a heavy bonding for each other and the holy city of `Banaras' is destined to bring in memorable revelations to Hari.
