The motion poster of the crest-fallen hero Sunil's next film was officially launched today in Hyderabad. Titled as Jakkanna, the film is directed by Vamsi Akella of Raksha fame. It is produced by Sudarshan Reddy of Prema Katha Chitram fame. Eighty per cent of the shoot is complete.

Mannara Chopra, better known as Priyanka Chopra's girl cousin, is the female lead. The 24-year-old actor-cum-model made her debut in the Bollywood film Zid. She has acted in the Tamil films Sandamarutham and Kaaval.

Sunil badly needs a hit now. After the disastrous performance of Krishnashtami at the BO, Sunil has pinned hopes on Jakkanna to reshape his image. As for Vamsi Akella, he was appreciated for his movie Raksha.
