'Baasu Ade Hale Kathe' - It is a laborious watch of 113 minutes Kannada cinema. According to the title the debutant director has given old stuff with lot of painful situations.

It is rugged, routine, rubbish at places. The love blossoming is inappropriate. The carry out of it is nothing impressive and butterfly attitude of female is heard and seen on Indian screen several times.

Director Shaan is not having any shades of good growth. The dangerous end he has taken to kill his friend and his lover who ditched – they tried to dupe the protagonist Shaan is expected. The most depressing is protagonist Shaan asking his lover and his friend to show him that they are natural lovers sitting one side in the bedroom. It is most ugly part of the film.

Shaan touching upon another couple is interesting portion. Mithra and Kavya as couple are rarely found in the society. Husband using his spouse in flesh trade to support his living although harsh it is found in the society.

The song of Ustad KJ Yesudas – Hudugiyaru Hudigiyaru Heege Allave…..is very haunting that comes in the background. CR Bobby as music director deserves applaud. Camera work from Ganesh is average.

Nothing compelling - Score 4/10
