Ace director Gautham Menon’s production house, Photon Kathaas’s first venture was psychological thriller, ‘Nadunisi Naaygal,’ that was quite a box-office disaster due its brutal concept.

However, their co-production ‘Azhagar Samiyin Kudhirai’ is making waves and is received warmly by one and all, as the movie throws light on superstitions in a funny way.

Now the production house’s next venture is all set to hit the screens shortly. Come June and we’ll watch ‘Veppam’ directed by Anjana Ali Khan.

The movie features Nani, Karthik Kumar, Nithya Menon and Bindhu Madhavi in the lead roles and portrays various happenings in the slums of Chennai, each character undergoing a tough time. It is also said that Bindhu Madhavi, the lead lady of this movie plays a call girl.
