Director Srinivas Kaushik after a gripping `Yaradhu' two years ago has not maintained the same grip in this `Bete' - meaning hunt. It is not just enough to collect some hotchpotch scenes. The execution in novel style is missing. The logic behind making should be looked at first.

It is again nexus between ill minded persons verses the upright in the society. There are good performances in this film but nothing is captivating to justify the title `Bete'. The racket in the hotel, hospital, innocent becoming victims, transporting of innocent girls to foreign countries - all such sickening issues are the contents that drives the films rather unconvincingly.

A print media journalist Ashwini Chengappa (Ayesha) is also in to action besides reactions in her columns. She knows before the police come to know and police comes after she finishes her fights. Such an absorbing character Ashwini is shocked when her sister  Kavitha (Ishita Vyas) is killed in a racket that connects a hotel and hospital. A series of scandals are unearthed and criminals are booked in the climax.

Ayeshs is the trump card of this film. Producer Srinivas looks crazy with wing and leg shaking girls. Akshay talent is wasted and so is Ishita Vyas. Harish Rai, Adhi Lokesh and Ananthnag are adequate.

On the music and cinematography part there is nothing to write.
