It was reported yesterday that Vijay Antony's 'Bethaludu' ('Saithan' in Tamil) will not be releasing on Nov 18 as planned, thanks to Demonetization effect. The new release date, as revealed by a well-placed source, is Dec 2. The makers are looking at a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.

It's also learnt that Allu Aravind has been mooting a one- or even two-week deferment of 'Dhruva', which was long planned to hit the screens on Dec 2. The release date of Ram Charan-Surendar Reddy's big-ticket film will be determined, at least partially, by the release date of Suriya's 'S3', which is slated to be released on Dec 16 as of now.

With film after film seeing postponement, it's advantage 'Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo'. Producer Miryala Ravindar Reddy's calculation is paying off slowly but surely.
