Akkineni Nagarjuna, whose family film 'Manam' will be hitting the screens of May 23rd, said that he doesn't want to ruin some movies by remaking them.

Nagarjuna said " Why should we ruin some classic hit movies like 'Geethanjali', 'Shiva' etc by remaking them.They have a special place in the hearts of many and it is better not to touch them in the name of remakes".

About if "Gundamma Katha" remake starring Naga Chaitanya and NTR will happen, Nagarjuna said " "Gundamma Katha" is an evergreen classic movie. But as many of the present generation wouldn't have watched the movie, it could be remade now. I will be a happy man if it is remade with Naga Chaitanya and NTR in the leads. But I can't say when it will happen".
