'Bhagirathi' grand audio event

For the first time in the career of Dr Baraguru Ramachandrappa in films the power of money getting hold of the activities was visible at the 'Bhagirathi' audio release. Kudos to producer BK Srinivas for investing huge for the audio release event held on Sunday morning at Shikshakara Sadhana.

Producer BK Srinivas made lavish arrangements and Ashwini Media networks handed over 'Laddu and audio CD of Bhagirathi' in a compact colorful bag for the hundred of guests who have gathered.

Producer BK Srinivas in his address mentioned that any film should be taken to the audience in right approach. The result is not in our hands. Making a quality film only should be our aim he says. 'Bhagirathi' has been selected for 42 Goa International Film Festival at the Premier section is the happy news explained Srinivas.

Power star Puneeth Rajakumar released the audio album of this 'Bhagirathi' based on 'Kerege Hara' folk tale and said he watches the film as a good cinema and not differentiate between art and commercial.

Dr Baraguru Ramachandrappa in his address stated that 'Bhagirathi' is not a superstitious cinema but internal feeling of a woman is explained when she is asked to sacrifice her life for getting water to the village.

Dr Chandrasekhar Kambara, 8th Jnanapeeth award winner was feted on this occasion as the subject of the film and Dr Kambara authority on folk coincide. Dr Kambara appreciated the serious application of mind in all the works by Baraguru Ramachandrappa.

Music director V Manohar arranged for the songs life from singers at the audio release of 'Bhagirathi'. There are six songs in Bhagirathi all penned by Dr Baraguru Ramachandrappa.
