Apart from being a legendary director, Bharathi Raja is also a versatile actor. His acting forte was explored in movies like 'Aayutha Ezhuthu' and 'Kalukkul Eeram' in his supporting roles.

Now the latest is that Bharathi Raja has been roped in by director Suseenthiran for Vishal's 'Pandianadu'. Set in the backdrop of Madurai, the action family entertainer marks the actor's first production venture, under his banner Vishal Film Factory. In the film, Lakshmi Menon is Vishal's heroine. In 'Pandianadu', director-actor Bharathi Raja plays the role of actor Vishal's father. Bharathi Raja listened to the story and instantly liked it; he has displayed happiness in being a part of the project.
