Finally, looks like itÂs time all speculation about AsalÂs second heroine can end. Bhavana, the Deepavali heroine, whose last Tamil release was Jayam Kondaan, has been roped in to play the second heroine in the Ultimate Star film.
Asal, directed by Saran, has Ajith and Sameera in the lead, with Bharadwaj composing the music. The film has a second heroine, and it was originally speculated that Mamta would play the role. But sources in the production team confirmed that Mamta was never sought for the character, and casting was still on. It may be remembered that Shriya was also offered this role but she declined as she had other projects as heroine lined up.
Finally, it seems like the lucky girl to have won this offer in the Mallu girl. Shooting for the film will begin this month and the director has already finalized his locations for the same.
