The leader of an association belonging to Tamil Nadu's Isai Vellalar community filed on Tuesday a criminal defamation complaint against Kamal Haasan on the charges that his community's sentiments have been offended by the show.

In one of the recent episodes of Bigg Boss Tamil, Nadaswaram, a musical instrument deified by the community, was allegedly handled recklessly by the inmates of the reality shows' house. The instrument is very holy for the said people.

As per the one who has filed the suit, the participants and the host did that "intentionally".

At a time when Kamal Haasan is making political statements against the AIADMK government, he has been subjected to legal cases in this manner.
