'Biriyani' could not stand Hyderabad, and Venkat Prabhu's diet had to head back to Chennai city, due to a rude shock. After steady rounds of negotiations, the Stunt Union of Tollywood is rejoicing the judgment that 50% of stuntmen should be part of every fight sequence shot in Andhra Pradesh; earlier, it was 30%. What the 'Biriyani' team did not anticipate is that the rule would be implemented immediately.

So this has led to extra expenses for the team, in lieu of erecting sets back here in AVM Studios, Bini Mills and on OMR, and hurrying up to complete the schedule at the earliest. When Karthi jumped on to the sets of 'Biriyani', after a schedule with 'All In All Azhagu Raja', already a lump sum of 40 Lakhs was paid to the AP government, for the shooting; later, a settlement was arrived at, by which, a train fight sequence will be canned in Andhra. Looks like it is not just 'Biriyani', but also 'Siruthai' Siva's Ajith-Tamannah starrer, which may have to face this hassle.
