Vijay Sethupathi's main Villain in 'Kavan' revealed

Director K.V.Anand is going to complete the shooting of 'Kavan' within a week from now. While the films star's Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian in lead roles. it is still unclear who plays the main villain character which has always been a strong factor in Anand's films.

Initially there were reports suggesting that T.Rajendhar is the villain of the film. However the director revealed that both Vijay Sethupathi and TR will have positive as well as negative shades.

Akashdeep Saigal, the villain of Anand's 2009 super hit 'Ayan' joined the star cast of 'Kavan'.and he is said to be playing a negative character in the film.

But now the main villain of 'Kavan' has been revealed. It will be none other than actor Bose Venkat who has become a household name with many notable Tele serials and films to his credit.

In an interview, Venkat has revealed that he plays the main antagonist role of a 55 year old politician. He has undergone a complete makeover for the character. He has beefed up his body weight to 87 kgs and has tonsured his head for the character.

Venkat has completed his portions for the film and he has as many as 30 scenes in the film which also include combination scenes with the multi-talented TR.

The actor shot to fame with the character he played in the super hit mega serial 'Metti Oli' and his character name Bose became a prefix to his name. Veteran director Bharathiraja introduced to him in Kollywood as the lead villain of 'Eera Nilam'. He went on to act in many films and the popular ones among them are 'Thalai Nagaram', 'Sivaji', 'Saroja', 'Singam', 'Ko' and 'Thodari'.

Venkat also said K.V.Anand treats him like a close friend. The duo have earlier worked together in 'Ko'.
