In terms of contemporary chic and cultivated suaveness, there is no one to excel Nagarjuna.

In Boss, style is set to marry substance. V N Aditya, the smart director, has the ability mix both. He knows how to tell a tale. And he knows how to tell it adroitly.

It is something of a rarity these days when films tend to be mono-dimensional in terms of genres. D Sivaprasad Reddy for Kamakshi Arts has produced Boss.

The story is about two construction house honchos. Played by Nagarjuna and Shayaji Shinde, the two constructions company heads are at each other’s throats. ‘But this is not movie about them or their fight for territory. The film has several layers to it. The story moves at various levels,’ says Aditya, who last directed Nagarjuna in Neunnanu.

There are two heroines Nayantra and Poonam Bajwa.

Nayantra, after her good work in Lakshmi, is hoping that Boss will take her to the next level in Telugu. Interestingly, both Nayantra and Poonam play the same role --- personal assistants to Nagarjuna. Sunil, Ali, Brahmanandam and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam are there to provide the comedy. Kalyani Malik has composed the songs. And need we say it is rocking?

Nagarjuna, who is something of a style monsieur, is turning out in some of the most gorgeous outfits. A stickler for looks and designer labels, Nagarjuna showcases himself in some top-of-the-line suits, and more importantly, some fetching shirts and pants whose cuts are almost Parisian in their bespoke elegance and chic.

But it is not Nagarjuna alone who is to dress himself in delight. Nayantra, who appears as his secretary, isn’t far behind. Nayantra is to turn up in Satya Paul’s designer saris. Now in the designer world of India, Paul is a big name. And Nayantra is to add to luster to her character with his saris.

Boss, with its comedy, sentiments and romance, is perfect for the family as well as youth audiences. In other words, it is for you all.
