Boss

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Telugu Comments

In corporate circles they say Boss is always right. In Tollywood film circles too they are saying Boss is right. For, the film starring Nagarjuna, is carrying a big expectation and is one of the biggest attractions this season.

The film with Nagarjuna, Nayantra, Poonam in the main leads, is said to be a potpourri of entertainment as the director V N Aditya has cooked up a good mix.

As he says, `It will contain everything. Full satisfaction is guaranteed'.

The post-production works of 'Boss' are progressing at a brisk pace in Annapurna Studios.

The movie, directed by Aditya and produced by D Sivaprasad Reddy for Kamakshi Arts, has reached the post production stage. The dubbing works have also started.

The story is said to be about two construction house biggies. Played by Nagarjuna and Shayaji Shinde, the two construction companies are rivals. But before you imagine the film to be something of land mafia story, it should be said that romance and fun have a major part in the story.

'The film has several layers to it. The story moves at various levels,' said Aditya.

The title Boss itself stems from the roles of Nayantra and Poonam. Both of them play secretary to the Boss Nagarjuna. So the story develops around that angle.

For Nagarjuna, this is a trademark role --- something like the ones he played in films like Manmadhudu. He relishes roles that have romance and humor in them.

Nagarjuna and Aditya also share good vibes after Nenunnanu.

Nagarjuna, coming from a big success in Sri Ramadasu, are hoping to consolidate his gains.

Nayantra, after her good work in Lakshmi, feels Boss will take her to the next level in Telugu. Poonam too is expecting Boss to give her a big break in the industry.

But apart from these two beauties, there is also Saloni for a special song. And then there is Shreya. The young girl will put in a cameo. She is also one of the attractions of the movie. Shreya has already worked with Nagarjuna in films like Santosam and Nenunnanu. The two have enjoyed good on-screen chemistry.

Sunil, Ali, Brahmanandam and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam provide the comedy.

Kalyani Malik and Harry Anand have composed the songs. The latter is said to have handled only a couple of songs and it is Kalyani Malik (a highly talented musician) on whom all eyes are.

Like in most Nagarjuna films, there will be plenty of style and glamour in visuals and outfits.

Nagarjuna will be seen in some fetching shirts and pants whose cuts are almost Parisian in their elegance and chic.

Nayantra will turn up in Satya Paul's designer saris.

The film's audio will be released on September 3.

The film is expected to release in the third week of September.
