Madurey tops the box office list. With the expectations high after Ghilli the film has opened to full houses all over the State. The release centers have not put down the house full boards. Even though the box office report is good the trade feels that it will not be a Ghilli.

The film sans stars and banking on story line and devoid of masala gradually after two weeks of publicity started getting audience and gave the producer Prakashraj a much needed reprieve . The film would give Radha Mohan as a director and Prasanna as an actor the much needed break. Navya Nair too should be happy for her first film being a success. Hopefully the success of this film might bring in more clean films.
