Brahman

Sasikumar emerged as Mr. Dependable after giving back to back hits, and now the man is waiting to shed his stereotyped image. One can easily relate Sasikumar to the village boy with a sense of honesty and a lot of anger seething within. Well, this time totally set in an urban milieu and with a complete makeover of a stylish avatar, Sasikumar is gearing up for Brahman which is due to hit the theatres this February 21.

To be directed by Socrates, the man who functioned as an associate director to Kamal Hassan for his flicks Pammal K Sambandam and Nalathamayanthi, he has made his name stamped all over with an emotional speech during its audio launch.

Apparently it was ages before Sasikumarok'ed the script after much thought and the entire team including the director is quite ecstatic on the way the movie has shaped out. The movie is touted to be a full and foremost commercial entertainer of all sorts, keeping in mind with all the elements of Sasikumar's principles: a family outing! With two of the most promising comedians of this time; Santhanam and Soori in the cast, can you expect anything less?

Much can be said about the producer of the movie Manju, who owns a renowned production house in Kannada film circuit and is responsible for super hit films in Karnataka. The film schedule which stretched more than it was planned had no complaints from the producer and during the audio launch there was quite a number of praises for the producer!

DSP aka Devi Sri Prasad has crooned a number of cranky songs that are sure to go down with the youth. So the stage is set for a commercial entertainer, February 21 will see Bramman competing against Yash Raj films Aahakalyanam! Either way looks like a feast in the making.
