After continuous shoot schedules at various locations across the country, team ‘Kaththi’ has taken a break for a week’s time.

Preceding the break, director A.R.Murugadoss had shot some important portions in a grand set erected in Chennai. Soon after the break the shoot will resume with an action planned to be shot with the film’s hero Vijay. Team ‘Kaththi’s is working round the clock to complete the shoot as scheduled and release the film for Deepavali 2014.

Anirudh Ravichander has completed composing four tunes for his maiden project with Vijay as well as as Murugadoss.

The film is being produced on a grand scale by Ayngaran International and Lyca Entertainments. It stars Vijay in dual roles and Samantha is the lead heroine.
