Mona Singh has been in the news for different reasons but this time, apparently, for her unprofessional behaviour. Mona allegedly walked out of Karan Johar’s next production, ‘Gippi’, just a few days before the shoot was to start.

A source close to the project revealed, "Mona had been signed on to play the role of Gippi’s mother in the movie. Gippi is a teenager and the film revolves around the problems adolescents face. She was the first choice and all the required paperwork was done. However, just close to a week before the unit could take off to Shimla for the shoot, she backed out."

We’re told that Mona did not want to play a mommy-role so early in her career. But surprisingly in the TV show, Kya Hua Tera Vaada, Mona plays mother to grown-up kids. The source added, "It was quite a task to sort out the situation. However, the makers approached actor Divya Dutta and she took up the offer. Karan is delighted and indebted to her for coming on board on such short notice."

Ask director Sonam Nair about this and she said, "Yes, this happened. She (Mona) said she would do the film and then thought over her decision again. Divya was always on the list, so it worked out." Despite repeated attempts, Mona remained unavailable for a comment.
