Captain to launch his son soon

It's a long time buzz that Shanmuga Pandian, the younger son of actor and DMDK president Vijayakanth, would make his acting debut in Kollywood.

And sources now have it that the talk is turning a reality now. "A script has been finalised and a new director has been given with the task of launching Captain's son," sources say.

Shanmuga Pandian has underwent rigorous training in martial arts and dance, to get his act right in front of the camera. His maiden venture is expected to be produced by his home banner Captain Cine Creations.

In an interview some time back, Vijayakanth said that when Shanmuga Pandian expressed his interest to become an actor, he (Vijayakanth) felt happy as a father and gave his nod.
