The original Tamil film ‘Case No.18/9’ had no songs in it but the Kannada film ‘Case No.18/9’ has four songs from popular music director Arjun Janya and it happens to be the 25th film music direction of him.

Music director Arjun Janya popular songs were sung at the Manoranjan Hall near Mekhri circle prior to audio release. Arjun Janya giving reason why he has accepted the new team as music director said it is because he was new when action hero Vijay gave opportunity in ‘Yuga’ Kannada film and no popularity for me it is Sudeep who gave chance in ‘Kempe Gowda’ and changed my name as Arjun Janya he stated.

KFCC vice president Umesh Banakar released the audio album of the film. Producers Praveen Shetty, Kanthi Shetty, team of the film joined on this occasion on the dais.

Director of the film Mahesh Rao has consumed more time and his interview of all the actors, technicians and producers connected to the cinema not doled out worthwhile. Actors Niranjan, Sindhu Lokanath, Shwetha Pandit, Harshika Poonacha, Rangayana Raghu, Karthik Sharma, Girija Lokesh, Arjun Janya, producers Praveen Shetty, Kanthi Shetty were interviewed by director Mahesh Rao on this occasion.

The film ‘Case No.18/9’ showcases the woman power. It is surely haunting he felt. Smt Kanthi Shetty had in fact taken a betting on the success of the film. Sindhu Lokanath in a lighter vein said she would be asked to work as maid servant for a monthly salary after this film release.

We have recreated the shooting spots and shot and over 80 percent we arranged for similar looks of the original film mentioned Mahesh Rao.

Actor Niranjan Shetty explained how he was confused with the get up he has prepared for this film. Actress Sindhu Lokanath was baffled with the teeth makeover of Niranjan Shetty.

Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Ghouse Peer, Hrudaya Shiva, Mahesh Rao and Vikas Chandra have lent the lyrics for this film.

Jhankar Music has released the album to the market.
