With 'Sivaji' nearing its 200th day, the producers (AVM) are reportedly planning a mega function to celebrate the occasion. Shields have been made ready and a grand function would be held soon to commemorate the occasion.

It may be recalled that 'Sivaji' – The Boss, produced by AVM, starring Rajnikanth, Shriya and Suman and directed by Shankar, released early this year. One of the big budgeted movies on Kollywood, it went on to become a blockbuster hit setting a new record at the box office. It even found a place in UK Top Ten Movies list. For the first time, Shankar and Rajnikanth came together for the movie.

The movie is still running in a few theatres in Chennai and suburbs. Produced in the 60th year of AVM Productions, the movie was trendy, chic, and stylish. The formal announcement is expected to be made very soon on the celebrations.
