Tinsel Town celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari have sent out prayers for the well-being and safety of those in Chennai as cyclone Vardah crossed the Tamil Nadu coast on Monday afternoon.

The cyclone hit the coast about 10 km north of Chennai. The Tamil Nadu government said two persons lost their lives under the impact of the nature's fury.
