Chamku was a little innocent boy when his family was brutally murdered.

Raised up by the Naxalites in the southern interiors of Bihar, he was trained and molded into a fine young man who does not know what fear is.

Later on after being picked up under a covert Governmental program which is jointly conceived by RAW and Intelligence Bureau, he is trained to kill.

He evolves as the best among his tribe and thus begins the numerous crime operations, encounters and political assassinations.

Always preferred for the toughest of the assignments, he is the only one who can accomplish the high risk tasks without committing the slightest of errors.

He comes to Mumbai from Bihar for a particular reason but again gets entangled in the world of terminating life.

For a man who has been trapped inside the walls of crime and working like a killing machine to suddenly experience the softer side of life that confuses him and slowly make him carve for a normal living must be really difficult to come to terms with.

Chaddrama Singh who has the nickname Chamku played by Bobby Deol is one such person who one day discovers that he is no longer the person he used to be.

And he knows that this turnaround in is attitude has been brought about by his mind which inhaled the intoxicating fragrance of love.

So what feelings and emotional turmoil his mind must be going through when it is held between the addictive attraction towards his lady love and his dark past which is also pulling him with full force into its bowels.

The action thriller 'Chamku' is directed by Kabeer Kaushik and is a Dharmendra production.

Priyanka Chopra plays the hero's lady love.

The other main characters of the movie are handled by Irrfan Khan, Danny Denzongpa, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arya Babbar and Rajpal Yadav.

Hailed to be a very well made entertainer, 'Chamku' is gearing up to hit the theatres this August.
