The handsome 'Kai Po Che' munda has now got a new look for his new movie. After 'Shuddh Desi Romance', Sushant Singh Rajput dons the role of a detective for his next YRF's film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy', being directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
While we have been reporting about the actor being busy, working hard in Kolkata to get the character, feel and the spectacle of the period thriller, we now show Sushant's look in the film. Here is the actor chilling out with some of his friends from small screen industry.
Going by his latest avatar, Sushant, with a moustache and neatly oiled hairstyle, looks to be someone of bygone era. Obviously; when Byomkesh Bakshi, played by Sushant, is a character that is set in the 1930s-40s. The film is slated to go on floors next month (January).
Set against the backdrop of Calcutta, the film follows the first adventure of Byomkesh, fresh out of college, as he pits himself against an evil genius who is out to destroy the world.
The film is the first in a series that will feature Bengali bestseller writer Saradindu Banerjee's most famous creation and India's widest read and best known detective character for the first time in a Hindi feature.
