Post her marriage, Kareena Kapoor Khan has not been much active on reel radar; instead her younger colleagues have been zipping past her, hogging all the limelight. But now looks like the 'Heroine' has been brought back on her professional track, with her now being preferred hot choice of filmmakers.
While she is currently busy with her favourite director Rohit Shetty's film 'Singham Returns' with Ajay Devgn, speculations are rife that she has been considered by 'Kahaani' helmer Sujoy Ghosh for his upcoming film 'Durga Rani Singh'. Yes, the same project which was recently rejected by Kangana Ranaut citing date issues. However, talks are that the actress is bit apprehensive about the film, since she will have to play a mother to a 14-year old paralytic girl.
Besides this, talks are that Kareena will probably do a movie of director Bejoy Nambiar, which will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and star Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar in lead. Although she is said to be interested in this one, Kareena is yet to give a positive reply.
Incidentally, Kareena was expected to do a film, titled 'Bombay Samurai' with Farhan, but the project failed to take off owing to delays. Besides, the actress was supposed to be doing Karan Malhotra's much talked film 'Shuddhi' but then opted out of it.
We hope the Begum goes ahead with Ghosh's film, as it might bring a boost to her career like how Vidya Balan shot to fame with his women-centric 'Kahaani'.
