It’s no news that Vivek Oberoi has bagged Sanjay Gupta’s next big budget venture ‘Mumbai Saga’. Vivek, who will be working again with the filmmaker post ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, is reported to be essaying a cop in this latest thriller.

According to sources, Vivek will be playing a role inspired by a senior Mumbai Police inspector and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar who was killed in 26/11 attacks. He was awarded Ashoka Chakra posthumously. Interesting buzz is that Vivek will cut his hair and grow moustache to look the part.

‘Mumbai Saga’ is slated to go on floor in September and should hit the big screens in mid 2015.
