If sources are to be believed then, Shahid Kapoor will be doing the Bollywood version of ‘Magadheera’, the box office superhit Telugu movie that starred Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal.

Although Shahid, who is currently busy with promotion of Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Haider’, has not confirmed on this, the actor in an interview claimed that he has seen ‘Magadheera’ and really loved it.

Grapevines also revealed that the rights of this mega project has been bought by Sajid Nadiadwala, who this days is riding high on the super success of his directorial debut ‘Kick’. It is said that the filmmaker will film the remake on a very grand scale.

A huge blockbuster and a landmark film in Telugu, ‘Magadheera’ is a historical romance, about a warrior and a princess. Their love story meets unfortunate end under the hands of villain and how they are reborn to unite in new age, forms the crux of the story.
