IANS [Wednesday, November 17, 2004]

Shekhar Kapur will direct Oscar winner Helen Hunt and "Amistad" star Djimon Housou in a love story about an American relief worker and a Tutsi man.

The film, titled "100 Days In Darkness", is set in the 1994 Rwandan genocide in which an estimated 800,000 people were massacred, Eonline.com reported quoting Variety.

In 1997, Helen Hunt won an Oscar for her lead role in "As Good As It Gets". Shekhar Kapur directed the Oscar nominated "Elizabeth" in 1998.
