Who is out? Film or its director?
IndiaGlitz [Monday, January 10, 2005]

This is also another bad news. But there is some confusion in it.

First the telling the background is in order: Pratyusha Creations, a new entrant into the industry, announced a film with Nitin in the lead. The producers also said that Vasanthabalan, a talented assistant of Shankar, would wield the megaphone.

But after the completion of the first schedule, the news is that the director is off. A new director will  now handle this venture.

So what was the problem? Was Vasanthabalan not adequate to the task?

No, say the unit hands. They say the problem was more with the producers who were not ready for such a project. They say that the film itself might have been shelved.

Nitin could not be contacted for his reaction.

The producers, as it happened, had earlier dropped another movie with Uday Kiran and with the director of Aithe Chandrashekar Yeleti.

Pratyusha Creations are however currently producing Manasu Mata Vinadu.

That film was riven in a controversy different type.
