Ace photographer and video director Jagdish Mali is looking forward to starting a production house with his daughter Antara.

"We have planned to call it Antara Mali Productions but that will happen only after Antara is through with the script of her first film, after which we will sit down and decide how to go about it," Mali says.

The fond father is also quite thrilled about his daughter turning writer and director in two different films -- Antara was recently confirmed to do the scripting for R.G.V. Productions' next to be directed by J.D. Chakravarthy as well as being signed to direct a film for the banner.

Does that mean Antara has decided to go slow on acting? "I don't think so," says her father. "She does have a few projects on hand and is in no mood to call off acting, but writing is something that has always fascinated her over the years."
