For the last couple of years or so, there was news all over that Ram Gopal Verma would be unleashing his latest [and probably greatest] discovery, Mohit Ahlawat, to the celluloid. Photo session of the lead hero was done, information about the movie being a 21st century version of Shiva was spread and a superstar was already in the making.

Circa 2005 and movie was finally getting closer to the release. A series of promos were in air with the flashiest one carrying a tagline "The Rising Of A New Hero" [about which we reported first]. An obvious challenge to Aamir Khan's 'The Rising', James was meant to be a head-on-head clash with the historical.

At the last moment, a decision was taken to postpone James and now finally the movie gets released tomorrow. The good thing is that a delay of one month allowed the movie to pump up the promotion and build on some excitement.

Result is that Mohit Ahlawat can now expect a much better response to his debut than before!
