Get ready for Akshay Kumar film festival
IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, September 20, 2005]

While Salman Khan is having a rollicking time at box office, Akshay Kumar is not too far behind with string of successes over the years. But even his die hard fans wouldn't have imagined watching him in as many as 6 movies lines up in a 10 weeks duration, starting November.

First to come is his Diwali release Garam Masala directed by Priyadarshan. A comic entertainer, it is already hot both within and outside the industry. After this, his next release should be Deewane Hue Pagal [Vikram Bhatt]. This should be followed by Family - Ties Of Blood [Rajkumar Santoshi] and Dosti - Friends Forever [Suneel Darshan], both of which are presently eying 16th December slot.

If this wasn't enough, there is Neeraj Vora's sequel to Priyadarshan's 'Hera Pheri', aptly titled 'Phir Hera Pheri'. And to top this all up, if [and only if] Mere Jeevan Saathi [Suneel Darshan] finally sees the light of the day; it could well be his 6th movie in quick succession.

Wow !!
