For more than a month, tongues were wagging around the alleged fallout between Yash Chopra and Shahrukh Khan. Rumors and facts of all kinds were making a round in the industry about how Yashraj Films was sidelining SRK while signing other reigning stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan.

Now this is an announcement that is going to spread like wild fire. SRK has been signed for the next Yash Raj films production that would be launched soon.

Written by Jaideep Sahni, the movie would be directed by Shimit Amin, who came up with the FACTORY product 'Ab Tak Chappan' last year. The movie's shooting would begin in mid-2006.

One question that comes to mind now is that is this the same project for which Shimit and Salman were earlier supposed to work together? In that case is Salman's exit SRK's entry? Or is it a 2 hero project? Or is this a different project altogether?
